The legendary Bel Air is powered by none other than the equally as legendary 350 CID V8. Painted in Chevrolet orange and topped off with a black air cleaner and black finned valve covers, the engine sure fits well in this build. The power is routed through a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, shifted on the column. The exhaust is routed through dual pipes with glass pack mufflers for a great powerful sound.
320 horsepower from a Jetfire 330 cubic inch V8 engine is very impressive to read and even more impressive to feel! A 3-speed automatic transmission handles the shifting duties, and power steering and power brakes make handling and stopping pleasant. There is nothing worse than a car with a ton of power and no way to bring it all to a halt or throw it around a corner when you need to. That is not a concern with this Cutlass. It also features a power convertible top and true dual exhaust. The exhaust note is pure muscle yet is quiet enough at idle to take your passengers in a drive through for a shake on the way to the car show.
